For the following gases the DEKRA EXAM GmbH has proved the measuring function of GTR 210 according to EN 60079-29-1: hydrogen, ethanol and ammonia.
Moreover the categorisation to SIL 1 level according to EN 50271 has been realized.
Consequently the GTR 210 VQ fulfills the requirements of TRAS 110 (safety related requirements concerning ammonia refrigeration plants) to guarantee the shutdown of the machines in case of 30.000 ppm NH3.
For this purpose only gas warning devices are allowed having an approval of ignition protection according to DIN EN 60079-ff and a safe measuring function according to DIN EN 60079-29-1.
