Такие агрессивные вещества, как нефть, соль и растворители, а также коррозионные газы вроде сероводорода, создают значительную коррозионную нагрузку на электромагнитную среду. Корпус V4A обеспечивает дополнительную защиту датчика газа от воздействия растворителей. Изделие выпускается также с разъемом ATEX, упрощающим техническое обслуживание.
